Tottenham’s quest for cup success continues as they play host to Manchester City.

Fresh from their disappointing defeat against Crystal Palace, Tottenham’s attention now turns to the Carabao Cup.

Having scraped past Coventry City in the previous round, Ange Postecoglou’s men now face the gruelling task of overcoming Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

Guglielmo Vicario claimed Spurs lacked ‘fight’ against Palace and the Lilywhites will undoubtedly need that fighting spirit back if they are to progress to the fifth round.

With that being said, here is everything you need to know ahead of Manchester City’s visit to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Team/injury news

Heung-min Son was rested against Crystal Palace as a precaution and the South Korean could return to action on Wednesday evening. Having previously scored eight goals against Pep Guardiola’s side, Spurs will be hoping Son can continue that impressive record against the Citizens.

Wilson Odobert picked up a hamstring injury against Coventry in the previous round and only recently made his return against AZ Alkmaar last week. The Frenchman could be in line for his first start since September.

Tottenham’s win over AZ Alkmaar also saw the long-awaited return of Richarlison and the Brazilian could again lead the Spurs frontline against Manchester City.

The Citizens meanwhile could undergo a few changes of their own, with Pep Guardiola indicating Man City may field several academy players due to several injuries.
