First-Team Squad

The first-team Tottenham Hotspur squad for the 2025/26 season has 27 players for head coach Roberto De Zerbi to work with. Spurs’ senior squad includes three goalkeepers, eight defenders, nine midfielders and seven forwards.

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeepers

Guglielmo Vicario

Empoli sold Guglielmo Vicario to Tottenham for an initial £17 million in June 2023, with the Italian signing a five-year contract. The goalkeeper’s fantastic shot-stopping often wins Tottenham points, but he is prone to mistakes.

Brandon Austin

Jose Mourinho moved Brandon Austin into the Tottenham first-team squad in 2019. He is a product of Tottenham’s academy, too, after joining Spurs from Chelsea’s youth fold as a kid. The goalkeeper has since enjoyed loan spells at Viborg and Orlando City to gain experience.

Antonin Kinksy

In January 2025, the Lilywhites were able to secure the signature of highly-rated shot-stopper Antonin Kinksy. The Czech keeper was signed to provide cover and competition for Vicario.

Tottenham Hotspur defenders

Cristian Romero

Cristian Romero initially joined Tottenham’s squad on loan from Atalanta BC in 2021 as their replacement for Toby Alderweireld. But Spurs made the Argentine’s transfer permanent for £42.5m in 2022. He went on to win the World Cup at Qatar 2022, later winning the Copa America in 2024.

Ben Davies

Tottenham signed Ben Davies from Swansea in 2014, and he has since been a valuable first-team squad member. The Wales defender has gone on to amass more than 300 outings for Spurs, playing at centre and left-back.

Micky van de Ven

Tottenham completed the signing of Micky van de Ven from Wolfsburg in August 2023 for an initial £34.5m. The pacey defender can end up costing Spurs £43m with future add-ons. The Dutchman has since become a key cog in the Tottenham backline.

Radu Dragusin

Tottenham strengthened their centre-back ranks by landing promising young defender Radu Dragusin in the January 2024 transfer market. The 22-year-old joined for a fee worth roughly £26.7m, with the Romanian international opting for Spurs over Bayern Munich. Since arriving, the defender has struggled for regular minutes.

Kevin Danso

With Tottenham struggling with injuries during the 24/25 season, Kevin Danso was signed in January to provide competition and cover for Spurs’ backline.

Pedro Porro

Tottenham answered Antonio Conte’s pleas to sign Pedro Porro from Sporting Lisbon during the January 2023 window. The Spaniard initially joined Spurs on loan for £5m, but the switch featured a £39m obligation to buy. He hit four goals and seven assists in 37 outings during his first full season.

Djed Spence

Tottenham agreed to a £12.5m deal, rising to £20m, with Middlesbrough to add Djed Spence to their squad in 2022. The right-back had shone whilst on loan at Nottingham Forest in the previous season.

Destiny Udogie

Tottenham agreed to an initial £15m deal, rising to £20m, with Udinese for Destiny Udogie in 2022. But the left-back stayed at the Serie A side for another season on loan over 2022/23. Udogie was a sensation during his debut Spurs campaign, slotting perfectly into Ange Postecoglou’s system.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielders

Joao Palhinha

Tottenham signed Joao Palhinha from Bayern Munich on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy in August 2025. He has immediately filled Spurs’ defensive midfield void and already looks like a shrewd deal.

Archie Gray

Signed from Championship outfit Leeds United, Archie Gray joined Tottenham for £40 million, with defender Joe Rodon going the other way for £10 million. The 18-year-old can also play right-back as well as central midfield.

Lucas Bergvall

Spurs beat a number of top clubs to the signature of Lucas Bergvall, signing the young midfielder from Djurgarden for £8.5m. The Swedish international is expected to blossom into one of Europe’s best midfielders.

Yves Bissouma

Tottenham raided Brighton in 2022 to bolster their first-team squad with Yves Bissouma in a £25m move, rising to £35m. The Mali international emerged as a strong box-to-box option at the Amex. Bissouma has been inconsistent in recent seasons.

Pape Matar Sarr

Pape Matar Sarr only joined Tottenham’s squad in 2022 following a season-long loan back to Metz in 2021/22. Spurs had paid the French team an initial £13m, rising to £25m, in 2021 for the Senegal international. Sarr struggled to break into the first team under Antonio Conte but flourished under Ange Postecoglou.

Conor Gallagher

Conor Gallagher joined Tottenham Hotspur in January 2026 after completing a £35 million move. Spurs moved decisively to secure the England international amid interest from Aston Villa. Gallagher arrived in North London with significant Premier League experience and was expected to make an immediate impact.

Rodrigo Bentancur

Former Tottenham managing director Fabio Paratici returned to another of his former clubs, Juventus, to sign Rodrigo Bentancur in 2021. The Uruguay midfielder left Turin for London in an initial £16m move, rising to £21m. He was an instant hit with Spurs under Antonio Conte, but has not been so good lately.

James Maddison

Tottenham capitalised on Leicester City’s relegation to the Championship and signed James Maddison in June 2023. Spurs paid the Foxes £40m for the England midfielder, who contributed 55 goals and 41 assists over 203 games at the King Power Stadium. The Englishman has become a fan favourite since arriving in North London, but injuries have caused him to miss long periods.

Xavi Simons

Xavi Simons joined Tottenham from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2025 despite strong links to London rivals Chelsea. Simons arrived with a huge reputation, but he has not hit the ground running. However, he has recently shown flashes of the brilliance that convinced Spurs to spend £52m on him.

Tottenham Hotspur forwards

Wilson Odobert

Signed from Championship outfit Burnley, Wilson Odobert joined the Lilywhites for £30m, aged just 19 years old. The French youth star is tipped for great things within the game and is expected to play a big part in Tottenham’s future.

Dejan Kulusevski

Fabio Paratici raided Juventus in January 2022, signing Dejan Kulusevski on an 18-month loan. Spurs paid the Bianconeri £8.5m for his loan and got a £29m purchase clause. Tottenham later renegotiated the fee down to £25.5m in June 2023.

Mohamed Kudus

Tottenham signed Mohammed Kudus from London rivals West Ham in a £55m transfer in July 2025. The Ghanaian winger has already become a fan favourite in North London for his top-class dribbling ability.

Richarlison

Everton agreed to sell Richarlison to Tottenham after four years in their first-team squad in 2022. The Brazilian joined Spurs for an initial £50m, rising to £60m, on a five-year contract. He offered three goals and four assists in 35 games, starting 17, during his first season.

Dominic Solanke

Dominic Solanke was Tottenham’s statement signing of the 2024 summer transfer window. Having impressed Bournemouth, the striker was signed to fill the goal void left by Harry Kane in 2023. Solanke has impressed when he has played, but injuries have been a big problem.

Randal Kolo Muani

Tottenham seized the opportunity to sign French international forward Randal Kolo Muani on loan from Paris Saint-Germain on deadline day. Kolo Muani developed into one of the top strikers in European football at Frankfurt three years ago, but his career has stalled recently. Unfortunately, his form has not improved at Tottenham so far.

Dane Scarlett

Dane Scarlett is part of Tottenham’s first-team squad in the 2025/26 season, having spent previous campaigns on loan at Oxford United, Ipswich, and Portsmouth. He made his Champions League debut against Copenhagen in November 2025.

Mathys Tel

Having initially rejected Spurs, Mathys Tel shocked the footballing world when he made a U-turn on his initial decision – eventually joining the Lilywhites on deadline day. He struggled to impress during his initial loan, but Tottenham still made the deal permanent in the summer of 2025.
