Thomas Frank is expected to make a whole host of changes for his side’s Carabao Cup clash against Doncaster Rovers, and one academy ace looks set to make his senior team debut.
Luca Williams-Barnett was on the bench for Tottenham a number of times last season under Ange Postecoglou but is yet to get any first team minutes under his belt.
The versatile midfielder, who turns 17 next week, has been on fire for the north Londoners’ academy, scoring a hat-trick for Spurs’ Under-21s on Friday.
Now, with Frank set to field a new look side against Doncaster, it has now all but been confirmed that Williams-Barnett will be involved.

Luca Williams-Barnett seen training with the Tottenham first team ahead of Doncaster Rovers clash
Tottenham uploaded a video of their first team training on Tuesday as Frank’s side put in preparations for Doncaster’s visit to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
One eagle eyed fan then paused the clip and circled one player in the background of the video, suggesting it was Williams-Barnett.
Other supporters who paid even more attention to the finer details of the clip noticed the player highlighted had no betting sponsor on his training kit.
This would indicate the player in question was under 18 due to betting regulations, further fuelling the theory it was Williams-Barnett.
Luca Williams-Barnett’s involvement in the Tottenham first team so far
After joining Spurs’ academy from Luton Town, Williams-Barnett has been a regular for Tottenham’s Under-18s.
He was on the bench in the Europa League last season as Spurs went on to win the competition, their first trophy since 2008.
The youngster was also on the bench for the 1-1 draw with Fulham at home last term, but he hasn’t been put on any senior team sheet so far this season.
