Tottenham will be hoping to make light work of their EFL Cup tie against Doncaster Rovers, and The Spurs News have predicted there will be mass changes to the line-up.
Thomas Frank’s side rescued a point in their last game against Brighton, and some of the first team stars will welcome the chance of a rest after a heavy start to the season.
Both Cristian Romero and Micky van der Ven have been regulars in the side this season, despite coming off a season where they missed a prolonged period of time due to injury.
However, the duo are unlikely to both be handed a rest, with genuine replacements looking hard to come by in the Spurs squad.
While there will be hope that a side in the Champions League will have far too much for their League One opponents, there will be some big names on show in The Spurs News’ predicted XI for the game against Doncaster.

Tottenham predicted XI vs Doncaster Rovers
After not starting a game yet this season, there will be a first run-out under the new manager for promising young goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky.
A well-deserved rest for Pedro Porro will see Djed Spence handed a start on the right of defence, after the majority of his minutes so far this season have come on the left.
Cristian Romero will be the central defender who retains his place in the side. His passing in particular has made him a standout defender in the Premier League so far this season.
He will be joined at the back by Kevin Danso upon his own return from injury.
At left-back, there will be a return to a former position for Ben Davies, after the majority of his recent minutes have come at the heart of defence.
In the heart of midfield, Archie Gray will be handed his second start of the season, and his first meaningful minutes since the opening day. Frank has been impressed with Gray so far this campaign.
He will be joined by Pape Matar Sarr, who has enjoyed a very strong season but did not start against Brighton.

Ahead of those two, there will be a first team debut for exciting youngster Luca Williams-Barnett, who boasts an excellent goalscoring record for the academy sides.
On the right, Europa League hero Brennan Johnson will return to the starting side. He has been unfortunate not to see more minutes this season.
The opposite wing will be occupied by Mathys Tel, who is already under pressure to deliver after his loan move was made permanent by Spurs over the summer.
Randal Kolo Muani will start for the first time since his loan from PSG, with him knowing that he faces a tough battle with both Richarlison and Dominic Solanke for the number nine spot.
