Tottenham Hotspur have made a name for themselves in recent years when it comes to giving youth a chance.
Spurs have signed a host of superb young talents over the past few years, such as Destiny Udogie, Pape Matar Sarr, Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall.
Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou has also given chances to academy players, with the likes of Mikey Moore and Will Lankshear involved in the first-team.
On Thursday night, Spurs academy prodigy Luca Williams-Barnett made the senior matchday squad for the second time in his career, and the first time at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The 16-year-old attacking midfielder was among the substitutes for Tottenham’s Europa League meeting with Roma, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
And on Friday, Williams-Barnett – who was also on the bench away at Galatasaray – took to Instagram with a message expressing his delight in making the matchday squad at N17.

“Regarded a top youth prospect by both Tottenham and England, and is starring for Spurs Under-16s this season.”
