Tottenham Hotspur don’t appear to be close to any new signings but new rumours continue emerge as Ange Postecoglou chases additions.
Archie Gray agreed to join Tottenham Hotspur earlier in July and marked a significant investment from Leeds United.
Gray is one for the future, just like fellow arrival Lucas Bergvall as he starts his Tottenham career months after agreeing to join from Djurgarden.
Tottenham have also agreed a new loan deal for Timo Werner, extending his stay from RB Leipzig.
Ange Postecoglou will still be keen on adding more new faces, especially as he prepares his squad for Europa League action.
Tottenham continue to be linked with new faces, including the likes of Desire Doue, Sebastian Szymanski and Pedro Neto, but defensive additions could be made too.

Tottenham Hotspur want Mario Hermoso
Another left-footed defender may be a priority for Tottenham this summer.
Ben Davies has been a superb servant to the club but hasn’t really meshed as a left back or left-sided centre back under Postecoglou.
A player who can play both roles would be ideal, offering competition for both Micky van de Ven and Destiny Udogie.
Signing one player to cover both roles may actually be preferable rather than spending on two signings.
With that in mind, Calcio Napoli 24 claim that Tottenham are interested in signing Mario Hermoso.
It’s claimed that Napoli’s former Tottenham boss Antonio Conte wants to sign Hermoso having left Atletico Madrid at the end of his contract this summer.
Conte is understood to have held direct talks with Hermoso in the last few days in an attempt to lure him to Napoli.
The report suggests that Tottenham have a ‘dormant interest’ in Hermoso and that ‘could become a problem’ in Napoli’s push for a deal.
Napoli are pushing to make sure that Tottenham don’t pounce for Hermoso, but until a deal is done, there is a chance for Spurs to hijack the move.
Paratici eyed Hermoso two years ago
Hermoso is certainly appealing as a free agent but doesn’t really fit the age profile Tottenham have been focusing on.
The former Real Madrid talent is now 29 and there will be questions over his willingness to be a squad player at Tottenham.
Nobody would really expect Hermoso to come into the team ahead of Van de Ven or Udogie, leaving the Spaniard to potentially serve as cover and competition rather than a regular starter.
That may not be what Hermoso is looking for after 174 appearances in five seasons with Atletico.
Tottenham have been linked with Hermoso for a while though and the Daily Mail reported that Spurs wanted him in 2022.
Fabio Paratici was hunting for a left-footed centre back amid links to the likes of Pau Torres, Josko Gvardiol and Pau Torres.
Hermoso was considered but Tottenham ended up signing Clement Lenglet on loan from Barcelona, just a year before paying up for Van de Ven.
Paratici is still advising Tottenham on potential transfers and may still be driving that interest in Hermoso this summer.
We would still be surprised to see Hermoso join Tottenham over Napoli, but the Spaniard is a name to keep tabs on in the coming weeks.
