Tottenham Hotspur raided Bournemouth for the signing of Dominic Solanke over the summer and now fancy landing one of his former teammates.
Tottenham Hotspur wanted to invest in a new striker over the summer.
Spurs settled on Dominic Solanke as the new man up top having been impressed with his performances for Bournemouth.
Tottenham agreed a deal worth up to £65million for Solanke and we have seen encouraging signs from him.
Solanke has now bagged five goals and two assists in 13 appearances for Spurs this season with his pressing play setting the tone at the top end of the pitch.
Ange Postecoglou has hailed Solanke’s most recent Spurs performance and Tottenham are now keen on signing one of his former teammates.

Dimitar Berbatov on Tottenham Hotspur target
Reports in October suggested that Tottenham have joined the race to sign Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo.
Semenyo has been impressive this season, notching four goals and one assist in 10 Premier League outings.
The 24-year-old can play all across the front line and that attacking versatility may be hugely appealing to Postecoglou.
Semenyo scored the opener against Manchester City on Saturday as the Cherries secured a huge 2-1 win.
A brilliant touch from his left foot set up Semenyo to swivel and fire the ball home on his right.
That goal has now been praised by former Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov, who raved about Semenyo’s goal on Sky Sports (04/11, 7:30pm).
Berbatov praised Semenyo’s goal as ‘unbelievable’ and hailed his first touch as being ‘world class’.
The Bulgarian’s technique was up there with the very best, so this is enormous praise for Semenyo.
Berbatov added that Semenyo’s goal was ‘mastery’ and the kind of goal Marco van Basten would have scored.
“Look, it’s unbelievable, honestly – from a guy who always relied on the first touch – this touch is world class,” said Berbatov.
“To control with the left, turn and finish with the right, this is mastery, this is unbelievable. That’s not luck, it’s pure control of the ball. Pure Marco van Basten goal,” he added.

Semenyo praise for Solanke
Berbatov would almost certainly support a Tottenham move for Semenyo having absolutely raved about his technical ability.
Bournemouth can demand a pretty penny for Semenyo given that he only signed a new deal over the summer.
A top four finish for Spurs may make a move rather appealing though and Semenyo has recently sent a message to Spurs star Solanke.
Semenyo called Solanke a ‘real 9’ after his brace against Aston Villa, showing his love for the Spurs striker despite parting ways in August.
A reunion could yet materialise at Tottenham with Semenyo bound to become a prime target in 2025 if he continues to shine in the Premier League.
