Tottenham Hotspur raided Bournemouth for one attacker over the summer and are now interested in signing one of Dominic Solanke’s former teammates.

A year on from seeing Harry Kane join Bayern Munich, Tottenham Hotspur simply had to bring in another striker.

Richarlison hasn’t quite kicked on to become Tottenham’s first-choice striker and Spurs decided to invest.

In came Dominic Solanke in a huge move rom Bournemouth.

Tottenham agreed to pay around £65million including add-ons for Solanke and the early signs have been positive.

Solanke has bagged three goals and two assists in eight games for Tottenham across all competitions whilst offering exceptional pressing in the final third.

Tottenham Hotspur eyeing another Bournemouth star

Solanke has only been at Tottenham for two months but one of his former Bournemouth teammates is now on the Spurs radar.

Give Me Sport report that Tottenham are showing an interest in signing Bournemouth ace Antoine Semenyo.

It’s claimed that Tottenham have been watching Semenyo for a potential move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Liverpool and Newcastle United are also keeping tabs on Semenyo after an impressive start to the season.

There is a problem though and it’s that Semenyo only signed a new five-year deal with Bournemouth in July.

Unless there is a secret release clause in Semenyo’s deal, Bournemouth may be in a strong position to demand huge money.

Semenyo has made a superb start to this season, notching three goals and one assist in seven Premier League outings.

Capable of playing on either flank or up front, Semenyo has impressive versatility in the final third and that could really appeal to Spurs.

Semenyo a big fan of Solanke

Semenyo will be happy on the South Coast right now but the chance to join forces with Solanke again may seriously appeal.

Semenyo praised Solanke on Instagram last season, branding him the GOAT – the greatest of all time – after the now-Spurs striker smashed a hat-trick to beat Nottingham Forest 3-2.

Speaking to The Mirror in February, Semenyo backed Solanke for an England call-up having been impressed with his displays for the Cherries.

Solanke is now back in the England squad in this international break and Tottenham could yet reunite him with Semenyo down the line.

Backed to be ‘worth a fortune’ and hailed as ‘elegant’ by Jamie Redknapp on Sky Sports, Semenyo is one for Tottenham fans to keep an eye on ahead of the January transfer window.
