Tottenham’s £50 million target has just sent a message on Instagram to Tottenham’s Dominic Solanke following the North London club’s win over Aston Villa.

Spurs comfortably defeated Aston Villa 4-1 with a superb second-half display to move within just two points of the top four.

Solanke returned to the scoresheet as he netted a brilliant brace with two great finishes whilst Brennan Johnson and James Maddison also found the back of the net.

Now, one of Ange Postecoglou’s top targets has just further fueled transfer speculation over a move to Spurs after his message to Solanke following the game.

Antoine Semenyo’s message to Dominic Solanke

Antoine Semenyo has sent a message to Solanke on Instagram that will only further fuel speculation over a move to Tottenham.

Semenyo’s impressive start to the season has seen him attract interest from Tottenham and other Premier League clubs.

The forward has four goals and one assist this season for Bournemouth and even scored in the Cherries’ win over Manchester City. The 24-year-old will not come cheap though as Bournemouth reportedly value him at £50 million.

Semenyo commented, ‘RealR9’ on the Tottenham striker’s Instagram account after Solanke scored twice against Aston Villa. Spurs need one more top winger and Semenyo could be that player given his impressive form this season.

How did Solanke’s stats look vs Aston Villa?

Regardless of his two goals, Solanke was excellent against Villa as his superb work rate played a key role in Villa’s struggle to get going at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Spurs’ press from the front suffocated the away side in their own half for large periods of the game and the 27-year-old was key to this press.

It’s brilliant to see Solanke finally being rewarded for his efforts, with the striker having performed so well over the last few matches without getting that goal.
