Ange Postecoglou’s side return to European duty, as they travel north of the border to face Rangers.

The current feeling in N17 is pretty sombre to say the least, following Tottenham’s 4-3 defeat against Chelsea.

Winless in their last four games, Postecoglou and co will be hoping to get back to winning ways when they visit Rangers in the Europa League.

Tottenham’s European campaign has been a mixed one so far – currently sat in ninth, one place outside of the automatic qualification zone.

Rangers meanwhile sit one place above the Lilywhites – fresh from their impressive 4-1 win away at OGC Nice.

With only goal difference separating the two sides, the Ibrox clash could have huge ramifications for both club’s European hopes.

Team/injury news

Micky van de Ven picked up another hamstring issue against Chelsea, with the Dutchman likely to be sidelined for 1-2 weeks as a precaution.

Fellow centre-back Cristian Romero also picked up a knock in his firstgame back, his injury however is belived to be more serious – with Argentine journalist Gaston Edul claiming Romero could be out til the new year with a quad issue.

In midfield meanwhile, Rodrigo Bentancur’s ban does not apply to European fixtures so he will likely replace Yves Bissouma at the base of the Tottenham midfield.
