Tottenham Hotspur have been defeated 4-3 by Chelsea in the Premier League.
After the disappointment of the Bournemouth defeat, Ange Postecoglou would have been hoping his side could bounce back against their London rivals.
Those hopes, however, would be diminished as Tottenham would let a two-goal lead slip, to concede four against Enzo Maresca’s men.
Despite impressing in the opening stages of the game, a number of the Spurs squad flattered to deceive at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and The Spurs News ranks those performances below.

Fraser Forster – 7
Forster made a number of fine saves from the likes of Palmer and Neto – in what was a pretty faultless display from the veteran keeper.
Pedro Porro – 5
Disappointing display yet again from Porro. He was ineffective going forward and also defensively poor.
Cristian Romero – 5
Hooked early following an injury. A very frustrating cameo for Romero.
Micky van de Ven – 6
The Dutchman’s pace and defensive presence was a huge boost in the Spurs backline. It does look however like he was rushed back too soon, going off injured yet again.
Destiny Udogie – 5
The Italian struggled up against the likes of Palmer and Neto. He was caught in transition on a number of occasions.
Yves Bissouma – 3
Very, very poor again from Bissouma. Failed to close down Sancho for Chelsea’s opener and gave away the penalty for Palmer’s goal. Jamie Carragher claimed Bissouma’s challenge was ‘brain dead’ on SkySports commentary.
Pape Matar Sarr – 6
Sarr was his usual energetic self and was key in the midfield battle. He would however hand Chelsea their second penalty with a naive challenge.
Dejan Kulusevski – 6
The Swede was unlucky to be on the losing side today. He was the driving force of the Tottenham attack all afternoon.
Brennan Johnson – 5
Provided the assist for Solanke’s opener but was pretty quiet, barring that – being substituted at the start of the second half.
Dominic Solanke – 7
Superbly taken goal. Had a tough task up against the Chelsea center-halves, but his hold-up play was brilliant.
Heung-min Son – 6
Son was back to his sharp best, but the Spurs skipper missed a number of big chances – that he would normally score.
Subs:
Radu Dragusin – 6
Timo Werner – 5
James Maddison – 5
Lucas Bergvall – 5
Archie Gray – 5
