Spurs return to action this weekend, as they travel north to face reigning Premier League champions Manchester City.
Having entered the international break in almost the worst way possible, Tottenham’s defeat against Ipswich Town leaves them languishing in 10th place.
Desperately needing a win following their latest loss, things do not get any easier for Ange Postecoglou’s men as they face off against a Man City side who will be ultra-keen for three points after suffering four defeats on the bounce.
Tottenham beat Pep Guardiola’s side in their last meeting back in October, with the Lilywhites overcoming the Citizens in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup – a victory that Spurs will be hoping to replicate come Saturday evening.

Team/injury news
Spurs will be without their Brazilian number nine against Man City after Ange Postecoglou revealed Richarlison will be “out for a while” following the striker’s latest injury against Aston Villa.
Cristian Romero’s latest injury is also a cause for concern for Tottenham, with fellow centre-back Micky van de Ven also currently on the treatment table.
Rodrigo Bentancur’s ban means he will miss Tottenham’s next seven fixtures, the first those being against the Citizens this Saturday.
Archie Gray could benefit from Bentancur’s suspension and potentially could replace the Uruguayan at the base of the Tottenham midfield – having deputised mainly as a right-back so far this season.
Manchester City have a number of injury worries themselves with the likes of Phil Foden, Ruben Dias, and John Stones currently nursing knocks.
