Tottenham will be looking to get back to winning ways when they face off against Bournemouth in the Premier League.

Following their lacklustre draw against Fulham, Ange Postecoglou’s side now sit in seventh place – three points off the Champions League slots.

With hard fixtures against Chelsea and Rangers to come, Spurs will be hoping to get another three points on the board before the busy Christmas period starts to heat up.

Recent results have been mixed though with inconsistency plaguing Tottenham’s season so far and Bournemouth will be looking to take advantage of that vulnerability when they play host to the Lilywhites on Thursday evening.

Team/injury news

Tottenham have been very unlucky with injuries so far this season, but fans were recently handed some positive news ahead of the Cherries clash with Postecoglou recently revealing Cristian Romero may return against Bournemouth.

Romero’s centre-back partner, Micky van de Ven, is backing training on grass but won’t be available for the trip to the South Coast.

Postecoglou has praised both Ben Davies and Radu Dragusin for their performances as stand-in replacements, and it would be no surprise to see the pairing line-up again in defence at the Vitality.

Fraser Forster impressed against Fulham and the veteran keeper will be hoping to continue that fine form against Andoni Iraola’s side.
