A number of Tottenham stars will represent their countries during the international break, here is all you need to know.
Fresh from their damming collapse against Brighton, Tottenham head into the international break with a bad taste lingering in their mouth.
Ange Postecoglou labelled the Brighton defeat as the worst he has suffered as Spurs boss, with Tottenham’s second-half crumble leaving the Aussie seething at full-time.
The 59-year-old must now spend the next two weeks reflecting on his side’s performance at the Amex stadium, with a London derby against West Ham up next for Spurs once they return from the international break.
In the meantime though, many of Tottenham’s stars will jet off to play for their country – here is every single Spurs player leaving Hotspur Way on international duty.
Dominic Solanke – England

Nations League
- Greece (Thursday, October 10)
- Finland (Sunday, October 13)
Having received his first England call-up way back in 2017 whilst playing for Liverpool, Dominic Solanke is finally back in the Three Lions squad.
Lee Carsley has seemingly been impressed by the 27-year-old’s start to life in north London, throwing the Spurs man back into the England forward line alongside the likes of Harry Kane and Ollie Watkins.
Solanke is Tottenham’s only Three Lions representative this October, with James Maddison failing to receive a call-up from England boss Carsley.
Guglielmo Vicario and Destiny Udogie – Italy

Nations League
- Belgium (Thursday, October 10)
- Israel (Monday, October 14)
Having both taken part in the Azzurri’s September internationals, both Guglielmo Vicario and Destiny Udogie return to the Italy squad for Nations League action.
Udogie received heavy criticism for his display against Brighton, so the 21-year-old will see the internationals against Belgium and Israel as the perfect opportunity to recoup and try to get back to the performance levels Spurs fans praised him so highly for last season.
Dejan Kulusevski and Lucas Bergvall – Sweden

Nations League
- Slovakia (Friday, October 11)
- Estonia (Monday, October 14)
Tottenham’s Scandinavian stars Dejan Kulusevski and Lucas Bergvall have both been called up for Sweden’s October internationals.
Kulusevski was handed the Sweden captaincy back in September as Jon Dahl Tomasson’s side ran out comfortable winners against Azerbaijan and Estonia, to put them themselves top of League C Group 1.
Pedro Porro – Spain

Nations League
- Denmark (Saturday, October 12)
- Serbia (Tuesday, October 15)
Having been controversially left out of Spain’s squad for Euro 2024, Pedro Porro has earned himself a deserved recall by manager Luis de la Fuente.
Porro may even start for the European champions against Denmark and Serbia following Dani Carvajal’s recent ACL injury.
Ben Davies and Brennan Johnson – Wales

Nations League
- Iceland (Friday, October 11)
- Montenegro (Monday, October 14)
Despite Tottenham’s collapse against Brighton, Brennan Johnson grabbed his sixth goal in six games against the Seagulls.
The winger will be looking to carry that electric form into the international period as Wales look to build upon their impressive start to life under Craig Bellamy.
Ben Davies will likely captain the Dragons in the absence of Aaron Ramsey.
Micky van de Ven – Netherlands

Nations League
- Hungary (Friday, October 11)
- Germany (Monday, October 14)
Spurs fans highlighted Micky van de Ven’s poor performance against Brighton, with the Tottenham man failing to deal with the likes of Yankuba Minteh and Georginio Rutter.
Despite his struggles against the Seagulls, the 23-year-old returns to the Netherlands squad having pulled out of the September internationals with injury.
Radu Dragusin – Romania

Nations League
- Cyprus (Saturday, October 12)
- Lithuania (Tuesday, October 15)
The October internationals will see Radu Dragusin return to the pitch for the first time since his red card against Qarabag.
Having been sent off after just eight minutes against the Azerbaijani side, the Tottenham man will be looking to get some valuable minutes in the tank.
Cristian Romero – Argentina

World Cup Qualifiers
- Venezuela (Thursday, October 10)
- Bolivia (Wednesday, October 16)
Cristian Romero returns to the Argentina squad despite starting the season in terrible fashion.
Romero was once again subject to criticism against Brighton, as he continued his recent trend of losing his man, as Danny Welbeck headed home from two yards out.
The Spurs man will undoubtedly be hoping to put his recent poor form behind him as Argentina look to continue their road to World Cup qualification.
Pape Matar Sarr – Senegal

AFCON Qualifiers
- Malawi (Friday, October 11)
- Malawi (Tuesday, October 15)
Pape Matar Sarr returns to international duty as Senegal continue on their quest to regain their AFCON crown, following their triumph in 2021.
Yves Bissouma

AFCON Qualifiers
- Guinea-Bissau (Friday, October 11)
- Guinea-Bissau (Monday, October 15)
Having picked up a knock during the last round of internationals, Yves Bissouma will hope he has more luck on the injury front this time around when his Mali side face off against Guinea-Bissau.
Youth team call-ups
- Archie Gray (England U21)
- Luca Gunter (England U20)
- Ashley Phillips (England U20)
- Will Lankshear (England U20)
- Mikey Moore (England U19)
