Spurs are reportedly interested in Juventus midfielder Manuel Locatelli, which could accelerate the exit of Oliver Skipp.
Tottenham Hotspur have been one of the busiest clubs so far during the 2024 summer transfer window.
Spurs have already brought in the likes of Lucas Bergvall and Archie Gray whilst also securing the statement signing of Dominic Solanke for £65m.
The Lilywhites however are seemingly not stopping there, now reportedly turning their attention to securing a new midfielder following the departure of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to Marseille.
The likes of Conor Gallagher and Jacob Ramsey have been heavily linked with Tottenham, but it now seems Spurs have their eye on a new midfield target.

Tottenham eye move for Manuel Locatelli

As the Premier League season fast approaches Spurs are seemingly keen on bolstering their midfield ranks, with the Lilywhites reportedly “ready to offer” £20.5m for Juventus midfielder Manuel Locatelli.
The report from JuveLive, states the Old Lady are willing to listen to offers for 26-year-old with Tottenham said to be one of the clubs interested in a ‘dream move’.
Despite impressing during his first couple of seasons in Turin, Locatelli has since fallen out of favour at the Allianz Stadium with new Juve boss Thiago Motta keen on bringing in some new midfielders of his own.
This could potentially open the door for Spurs, as Ange Postecoglou looks to replace the hole left by Pierre-Emile Hojberg’s recent departure.
Locatelli deal could spell the end for Oliver Skipp

After a bright start to his Tottenham career, Oliver Skipp’s time in North London has now hit a crossroads.
Having racked up just five league starts last season and Spurs seemingly targeting other midfielders, the 23-year-old’s future at Tottenham now looks in doubt.
Skipp is reportedly wanted by three Premier League teams, with the likes of Leicester City, Ipswich Town and Southampton all said to be interested in the Spurs academy graduate.
So with that being said, it could be best for both parties to part ways this summer, as Tottenham eye new targets and Skipp looks to further his career beyond N17.
