Tottenham have invested well in their squad, with plenty of talent available, so here’s a breakdown of how much Spurs have paid in transfer fees for their players.
Tottenham‘s great rebuild is underway as new manager Ange Postecoglou looks to take the club back to the top. The Spurs head coach has already overseen a number of exits, while attempting a mass squad overhaul.
The current players at Postecoglou’s disposal are a mix from previous managers, his own signings and Spurs academy graduates. Some have cost a pretty penny in the transfer market, while others are an absolute bargain.
So with that said, The Spurs News takes a look at the transfer fees paid for every member of the Tottenham first-team squad for 2024/25.
Guglielmo Vicario – £17.2m

Tottenham signed Guglielmo Vicario as their successor to stalwart Hugo Lloris, paying just £17.2million to Empoli for the Italian shotstopper in summer 2023.
Fraser Forster – £0

Tottenham signed experienced goalkeeper Fraser Forster on a free transfer from Southampton in June 2022, providing depth in the department.
Brandon Austin – £0

Brandon Austin has worked his way through the academy ranks at Tottenham, with a view to breaking into the first-team picture.
Alfie Whiteman – £0

Goalkeeper Alfie Whiteman is another that has worked his way through the Tottenham youth ranks, with a few loans added to his development.
Cristian Romero – £42.5m

Cristian Romero sealed a permanent move to Tottenham for roughly £42.5million in 2022 from Atalanta, following an impressive loan spell at the club.

Micky van de Ven – £43m

Pacey defender Micky van de Ven joined Tottenham from VFL Wolfsburg in 2023 for a fee worth up to £43million.
Radu Dragusin – £26.7m

Tottenham bolstered their ranks in January 2024 by adding centre-back Radu Dragusin. The defender joined from Genoa for a fee worth up to £26.7million, including add-ons.
Ben Davies – £10m

Swansea City received £10million from Tottenham in 2014 when Ben Davies made the switch to north London. The left-back has been a stalwart at the club since signing.
Destiny Udogie – £15m

Tottenham paid £15m to land Destiny Udogie from Udinese, with the left-back showing plenty of promise on a loan spell before breaking into the first-team.
Pedro Porro – £40m

Tottenham landed Pedro Porro from Sporting CP on loan in the January 2023 window, before making the right-back’s switch permanent in the summer for roughly £40million.
Archie Gray – £30m

Archie Gray joined Tottenham from Leeds United in July 2024, the youngster looks set to have a bright future at Spurs.
Lucas Bergvall – £8.5m

Highly-rated youngster, Lucas Bergvall joined the Lilywhites from Swedish outfit Djurgardens in July 2024.
Pape Matar Sarr – £14.6m

Tottenham’s transfer philosophy surrounding the signing of bright young prospects saw them land midfielder Pape Matar Sarr in August 2021. The Senegal international joined from FC Metz for roughly £14.6million.
Yves Bissouma – £25m

Yves Bissouma impressed in midfield for Brighton, leading to Tottenham submitting a £25million offer in June 2022, which was accepted and pushed through a deal.
Rodrigo Bentancur – £21.5m

Tottenham moved late in the January 2022 market to secure Rodrigo Bentancur from Juventus for a fee worth up to £21.5million.
Giovani Lo Celso – £27m

There are mixed figures surrounding the signing of Giovani Lo Celso at Tottenham, with at least £27million paid for the playmaker from Real Betis in 2020, following a loan spell with the club.
James Maddison – £40m

Tottenham signed Leicester City and England sensation James Maddison for a deal worth roughly £40million in summer 2023, following the Foxes’ relegation.
Heung-Min Son – £22m

Tottenham landed an absolute bargain in the transfer window when they signed Heung-Min Son for just £22million from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015.

Richarlison – £60m

Tottenham made Richarlison their second-most expensive signing in club history when they landed the striker for £60million from Everton in June 2022.
Manor Solomon – £0

Tottenham signed Manor Solomon as a free agent in the summer of 2023, following spells with Shakhtar Donetsk and Fulham.
Dejan Kulusevski – £25m

Tottenham pulled off another bargain deal when they landed Dejan Kulusevski on a permanent deal from Juventus for just £25million.
Brennan Johnson – £47.5million

Ange Postecoglou pushed hard to land winger Brennan Johnson from Nottingham Forest, paying £47.5million for him in summer 2023.
Bryan Gil – £21.6m

Bryan Gil was a prospect with a bright future, leading to Tottenham snapping him up for £21.6million from Sevilla.
Timo Werner – Loan

Tottenham landed Timo Werner on loan in January 2024, with an option to sign him for £15million in the summer from RB Leipzig. He has since returned to Spurs on another loan deal.
Wilson Odobert – £30m

Arriving from Championship outfit Burnley, Wilson Odobert was signed in August 2024 in an attempt to bolster Tottenham’s wide options.
Dominic Solanke – £65m

Dominic Solanke was signed from Bournemouth in August 2024, in an attempt to fill the goal void left by Harry Kane in 2023.
