Tottenham Hotspur looked to have missed out on Norwegian wonderkid – Antonio Nusa.
The 18-year-old ‘Norwegian Neymar‘ looked destined for the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with the deal progressing nicely between Spurs and Club Brugge.
However, news broke on Sunday morning that Premier League side Brentford have had a bid accepted for the dazzling winger, hijacking Ange Postecoglou‘s plans.
Antonio Nusa looked to be a top talent – which has left Spurs fans absolutely furious.

Tottenham fans are furious about Antonio Nusa news…
Tottenham fans quickly took to X after the news broke, to express their anger and downright frustration as to how the club haven’t got the deal, which looked ever so likely, over the line.
One wrote: ‘Our negotiations have knackered us again. We will never learn.’
A second writes: ‘This is what happens when you twiddle your thumbs Mr Levy How many times have we seen this before at Spurs? Nusa is just another name to that verrrrryyyyyyyyyy long list of “nearly” signings. Disappointing. Would have been great under Ange.’
Another agrees: ‘Probably haggling over pennies.
A final adds: ‘Same old Spurs… some things never change!’
However – is there still hope? As another fan adds at the bottom of all the rowdy comments: ‘Surely this won’t be finalised without a late push from Spurs…’
Nusa to Spurs… could it still happen?
Never say never. Just because a deal has been agreed, nothing has been finalised and Spurs could easily still be in the race for the Norwegian.
Journalist Francois Plateau believes that Spurs can have ‘one last push’ for him, despite the news emerging on Sunday morning.
However, even if so… there is no guarantee Nusa or the club will change their mind. A huge blow for Spurs, and very reminiscent of the Tottenham fans have been used to in recent years.
