Tottenham Hotspur have been busy in the January transfer market.

Ange Postecoglou was always set to acquire some talent in the January transfer window. His first-team squad had been hit hard after the first half of the Premier League season with a plethora of injuries.

The question was – which players would be the right fit for the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium? In addition to this, would there be any departures?

Here are all the confirmed ins, outs and loan moves that have occurred at Hotspur Way in January.

Tottenham Hotspur Confirmed January Signings

Radu Dragusin – £21.5million

Tottenham’s only permanent signing of the window thus far is Radu Dragusin. The Romanian centre-back joined Spurs from Serie A side Genoa.

Spurs reached a ‘full agreement’ with Genoa to sign Dragusin for a fee worth around £21 million plus add-ons. He made his debut against Manchester United.

Timo Werner – Loan

The ex-Chelsea forward Timo Werner finally finalised his loan deal to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in January.

Werner joins up with the first-team squad at Hotspur Way until at least the end of the season from RB Leipzig. There is no option to buy the German.

Tottenham Hotspur Confirmed January Departures

Hugo Lloris – Free to LAFC

Tottenham waved goodbye to club legend Hugo Lloris this January as he departed to the MLS for free. He joins Los Angeles FC.

Sergio Reguilon – Loan to Brentford

Sergio Reguilon was recalled from Manchester United and then sent to Brentford on loan until the end of the season.

Japhet Tanganga – Loan to Millwall

Japhet Tanganga has been recalled from Augsburg, where he played 0 minutes. He has now been sent to Championship side Millwall in search of game time.

Alfie Devine – Loan to Plymouth

Despite smashing it at Port Vale, Alfie Devine has been recalled and sent to Plymouth on loan, leaping up a full division in the English football pyramid.

Djed Spence – Loan to Genoa

With Dragusin coming the other way Djed Spence joins Genoa on loan, who do have an option to buy the English youngster at the end of the season.

Eric Dier – Loan to Bayern Munich

Sours beat Bayern Munich to Dragusin and offloaded them Eric Dier in the process. He joined on loan until the end of the season.

Ashley Phillips – Loan to Plymouth

Ashley Phillips secured a loan move to Plymouth until the end of the season with no obligation to buy.

Matthew Craig – Loan to Doncaster

The 19-year-old academy midfielder Matthew Craig secured a loan to Doncaster until the end of the season.
