Tottenham Hotspur are now set to miss out on Antonio Nusa in what is a shocking turn of events.
The ‘Norwegian Neymar‘ looked destined for the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium not so long ago, with the deal progressing nicely between Spurs and Club Brugge.
The player was seemingly very on board with the prospect of playing for Tottenham and was excited to get going at Hotspur Way.
This has all now changed in the blink of an eye, with a Premier League rival hijacking the deal.

Brentford to sign Antonio Nusa
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano took to X today to confirm that Brentford has reached a deal with the Belgium Pro League club for Antonio Nusa. He wrote:
‘BREAKING: Brentford have just reached an agreement with Club Brugge to sign Antonio Nusa. Deal in place for fee in excess of €30m (£25.6m) package. Green light ready also on player side, he’s staying at Brugge until June then join Brentford in June. Time for formal steps now.’
Wow, what a turn of events. The 18-year-old will be liking up with Thomas Frank at the Amex Stadium.
So why has this happened with Antonio Nusa?
Tottenham looked destined no more than a day ago to secure the highly-rated wonderkids signature, so just what happened? Well, it may have something to do with the fee.
It was reported that the player was well on board with the prospect of Tottenham, so our best guess is that the problem came between the two clubs, probably due to a financial dispute.
Nusa also linking up with the Bees in the summer may have been a driving factor, with Brugge pushing for the Pro League title.
