Tottenham have been no stranger to investing in youth in recent times.
The summer signings of Archie Gray, Wilson Odobert and Lucas Bergvall suggest Spurs are pushing a more youthful approach under Ange Postecoglou.
Boasting a squad with an average age of 25.6, the Tottenham first-team roster now only contains three players over 30 after the recent departures of Eric Dier and Hugo Lloris.
Postecoglou’s squad however could even get younger if their latest transfer target is anything to go.

Tottenham keen on Sunderland’s Jobe Bellingham
As the January window fast approaches, Tottenham are seemingly planning a number of moves in the new year – with the Lilywhites said to be keen on Sunderland’s Jobe Bellingham.
That is according to Sunderland Echo – who state the Black Cats are bracing themselves for January bids from the likes of Tottenham, West Ham and Borussia Dortmund.
Jobe, younger brother of Jude Bellingham, has been one of the key factors in Sunderland’s unlikely title charge this season – notching three goal contributions so far for Regis Le Bris’ side.
The report states that the former Birmingham man could cost in the region of £21m and Spurs are reportedly keeping tabs on the midfielder’s situation.
If Tottenham were to make a move this January, it would surely seal the fate of one Tottenham youngster.
Lucas Bergvall could be sent out on loan if Spurs pursue Bellingham
Pape Matar Sarr lauded Bergvall as ‘fantastic’ following the Swede’s arrival in the summer, since then however the youngster has failed to really kick on.
The 18-year-old has mainly been limited to minutes in cup competitions with his latest appearance coming in the Europa League.

Tottenham fans called for Bergvall to be loaned out following his performance against Galatasaray and the Swede could potentially be set for a temporary switch if Spurs were to bring in Bellingham.
The Sunderland man is undoubtedly more experienced than Begrvall at the top level having played Championship football since 16, which could suggest his impact could be more instantaneous compared to his midfield counterpart.
