Fabrizio Romano has revealed Savinho’s stance on leaving Manchester City amid links to Tottenham.
Tottenham have been keen on Savinho since the summer transfer window and have retained an interest in him in January as well.
Souza and Conor Gallagher have already joined, but Spurs are keen on making more signings ahead of the transfer deadline.

Savinho makes Manchester City decision amid Tottenham interest
According to Fabrizio Romano, Savinho’s preferred destination has been clear since the start of the window.
However, Oscar Bobb, who was also a Tottenham target, always wanted out of the Etihad Stadium to secure regular game time.
The Norway international is leaving for Fulham, but by the looks of it, Savinho is staying put at City.
Sum up Tottenham’s win vs Frankfurt in just one sentence
He was never planning on parting ways with the Cityzens, despite the lack of regular starts under Pep Guardiola.
Romano said on his YouTube channel: “The decision of the club was to let Oscar Bobb go. Many rumours also on Savinho, but Savinho was never planning to leave Manchester City. For Oscar Bobb was a priority to play on a consistent basis.
“There is also the World Cup and they’re going to fight for it for Norway. So, let’s see how this conversation in terms of the World Cup will continue, but Oscar Bobb will be a new Fulham player.”

Will Tottenham sign another attacker before the transfer deadline?
Spurs have struggled in the final third this season, and blame can be attributed to a lot of factors.
There are some who will point fingers at Frank for failing to coach the team properly, while some might blame the board for not recruiting creative players.
A fair share of the blame can also be attributed to the current first-team players, as a number of them have been underperforming all season.
However, there still is an acknowledgement that the current crop of players is not good enough and the board are backing Frank with new signings.
Monaco winger Maghnes Akliouche is a Tottenham target, and they could look to sign him before the transfer deadline for a fee in the region of £43million, according to Football London.
