Tottenham Hotspur were defeated in the North London derby and were on the end of another set-piece goal which has become an issue under Ange Postecoglou.
Gabriel Magalhaes’ header in the second half proved decisive in the derby as the Gunners recorded a third straight win at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Spurs have struggled to defend corners and Postecoglou was forced to defend the work he has done to rectify the issue.
Guglielmo Vicario was criticised for his indecisiveness in goal but Cristain Romero was the player tasked with marking the Brazilian.
After the defeat, Romero sent a message out on social media hinting at why he wasn’t at the races and another reason why he was unhappy with the club.

Romero’s strange retweet after NLD defeat
Cristian Romero reposted a tweet from Argentinian journalist Gaston Edul claiming he was unwell and fatigued for the North London derby.
Edul claimed that the defender played against Arsenal with a fever and he was also suffering from fatigue due to his travel plans back from international duty.
Whilst other clubs arranged for their stars to be transported back to the UK from international duty, Romero was forced to make his own way back. The 26-year-old was clearly unhappy with this.
The retweet has now been undone by the defender, however, supporters were quick to capture the Argentine repositing the tweet on his official account.
Romero’s head is not at Tottenham but the club should be treating top stars better
It seems pretty clear that Romero is not overly bothered about playing for Tottenham and his days at the club are drawing to a close. Next summer, Romero is expected to have a lot of interest with Real Madrid, Manchester United and PSG having all shown interest in the last window.
But despite that, Romero remains a key play for Spurs and should be treated as such. Ensuring he had the best travel back from international duty ahead of such a big game should have been a priority for the club.
