Tottenham Hotspur have just moved to tie down one of their academy’s biggest prospects to a new deal as Hotspur Way continues to produce some of the country’s brightest stars.
Following the emergence of Mikey Moore and Will Lankshear, Tottenham’s academy has continued to see more and more exciting talents work their way through the ranks.
One of the latest exciting players is Luca Williams-Barnett who has been taking the Premier League U18 by storm scoring nine goals in eight matches.
But Williams-Barnett is not the Lilywhites’ only major talent in the Under-18s and one of the others has just been offered a new deal.

Tottenham offer Jun’Ai Byfield two-year scholarship
Tottenham have offered Jun’Ai Byfield a two-year scholarship to join the club’s Under 18 squad next season, according to Lilywhite Rose. The 15-year-old is already part of the U18 squad, but Tottenham are keen for him to commit his development to them.
Lilywhite Rose claims that Byfield is widely regarded as ‘the best centre-back in his age group across the country’ highlighting why Spurs are so keen to keep hold of him. The youngster also plays above his age for England having regularly featured for the Three Lions’ U17s.
The teenager is a brilliant defender but he has also proven to be so much more with his fantastic ability on the ball. Byfield scored a super goal against Leicester earlier this month in a 3-1 win.
Ange Postecoglou has already shown that he rates the young defender having had him train with the first-team squad this season.
Who are Tottenham’s biggest prospects?
Tottenham have an incredible range of teenage talents coming through their ranks with Mikey Moore leading the way as one of the most exciting. The winger has already become a part of Postecoglou’s squad.
Spurs paid £11 million to land Luka Vuskovic when he was just 16 as he also attracted interest from Man City and PSG. Vuskovic is currently impressing on loan at Westerlo this season with four goals to his name.
The North London club also added four major young talents in Archie Gray, Lucas Bergvall, Wilson Odobert and Yang Min-Hyeok last summer. Yang is expected to join Tottenham in January.
