Tottenham Hotspur look to be closing in on their third summer signing with a deal for FC Gangwon winger Min-Hyuk Yang being close to completion.

Min-Hyuk Yang is reportedly close to signing for Spurs and would join Archie Gray and Timo Werner in arriving at Hotspur Way this summer.

The Tottenham squad have travelled to Asia for their pre-season camp and are expected to play against the 18-year-old South Korean in a game against a K-League XI side.

The North London are due to play Vissel Kobe in Japan on July 27th before facing K-League all-stars and then Bayern Munich in South Korea.

Whilst out on tour in South Korea, Tottenham could have a new addition to announce in Yang and the details behind his actual arrival have been revealed.

When Min-Hyuk Yang will join Tottenham?

Yang is due to join Tottenham’s squad in January 2025 and will stay with FC Gangwon to complete the K-League season, as per Alasdair Gold on X.

The teenager has caught the eye in South Korea for his explosive performances in the K-League producing seven goals and two assists in 24 league matches this campaign.

Yang is prominently a right winger but is versatile enough to have played on either flank.

The 18-year-old with add to Spurs’ plethora of exciting, young attacking talent which also includes 16-year-old Mikey Moore and 19-year-old Will Lankshear.

Tottenham must start adding ready-made stars

Tottenham have been signing some really exciting young talents since the arrival of new technical director Johan Lange.

Lange has added the likes of Lucas Bergvall, Gray and now Yang to the club’s ranks, to nicely compliment some of the Tottenham academy’s brightest talents.

But whilst the future looks incredibly bright at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, some ready-made stars are still much needed with Ange Postecoglou aiming to end the club’s wait for a trophy.

The Australian coach did a brilliant job last season bringing the feel-good factor back to N17 and this campaign he will definitely be looking to kick on.

Tottenham are still in desperate need of reinforcement in attack and that needs to be a priority for the club’s recruitment team over the coming weeks.
