Tottenham Hotspur are creating a very exciting young core of players under Ange Postecoglou with Mikey Moore being the latest teenager to make his full debut for the club.
Moore made his first start for the North London club in their Europa League win over Ferencvarosi as they won 2-1 away in Hungary. The exciting Tottenham academy star has now become a regular in Postecoglou’s squad despite only being 17 years old.
Hotspur Way is now a hotbed for young talented teenagers with Moore the first of many youngsters who could break through in N17. The next big talent is already starting to emerge with one of the Under-18’s best players currently on an incredible run of scoring goals.

Luca Williams-Barnett could follow in Mikey Moore’s footsteps
Luca Williams-Barnett’s performances for Tottenham Under-18s have not gone unnoticed this season with the attacking midfielder tearing up the Premier League U18.
The 16-year-old’s goal-scoring record this campaign for the youth team is incredible with the teenager having netted eight goals in seven league appearances.
Williams-Barnett also stunned Manchester United’s academy as he scored a hattrick in the Premier League Cup against their Under-18 side.
| Opponent | Result | Postion | Goals | Assists |
| Palace U18 | 6:4 (W) | AM | 2 | |
| Fulham U18 | 1:5 (W) | AM | 1 | 2 |
| Brighton U18 | 2:2 (D) | AM | 1 | |
| Aston Villa U18 | 2:0 (L) | AM | ||
| Southampton U18 | 3:3 (D) | AM | 1 | |
| Reading U18 | 1:0 (W) | AM | 1 | |
| West Ham U18 | 4:2 (L) | CF | 2 |
Despite only being 16, he is dominating Under-18 football and a call-up to the Under-21s this season could soon be on the cards.
Given his age, putting pressure on him to get first-team minutes seems a bit of a stretch at this stage, however, he is more than good enough to follow in Moore’s footsteps and make his senior debut perhaps towards the end of the campaign.
Luca Williams-Barnett scores stunner vs West Ham
Williams-Barnett’s latest display saw him score a brace in a 4-2 defeat to West Ham with both goals being absolute stunners.
The midfielder’s first goal saw him catch the goalkeeper off his line as his effort from inside the centre circle looped over the keeper’s head and in.
His second was just as expertly finished as the 16-year-old found space in behind the Hammers’ defence and he cooly lifted the ball over the goalkeeper from close range. Tottenham fans have been raving about his perfomance on X.
One supporter said: “Luca Williams-Barnett with two lovely goals versus West Ham U18 yesterday including one from inside the centre-circle. Tottenham U18 were in need of a game-breaker after Mikey Moore was pushed up and Luca is taking it in stride.”
“Wow. Luca Williams-Barnett will become a future, crucial player for us in the next years, unbelievable,” added another fan.
Finally, there was massive praise from one supporter who made the claim: “Luca is the best talent of his generation… remember the name!”
