Tottenham transfer exit

Tottenham defender Joe Rodon has hinted at a potential exit from the club in the coming summer transfer window. The Welsh international is currently playing on loan with Championship outfit Leeds United, hopeful of a Premier League return.

On his spell with Leeds United so far, he told Welsh media: “Just playing of course is what everyone wants but I think all of us together, I think it would be a really nice kind of journey if we did get there [the Premier League].”

Cristian Romero praise

Tottenham pair Pedro Porro and Micky van de Ven were full of praise for defender Cristian Romero after his display against Crystal Palace. The centre-back scored from a quick throw-in routine to get Spurs ahead against the Eagles late on, with the side going on to win the tie.

“The best central [defender] in the world,” claimed Porro on Instagram, while Van de Ven and Maddison also joined in with praise.

Eberechi Eze moment

Tottenham got a close view of transfer target Eberechi Eze in their clash with Crystal Palace. The winger made his return from injury to face Spurs, opening the scoring for his side with a direct free-kick that flew into the back of the net.

While he couldn’t inspire Palace to victory, he was spotted having interactions with some of the Tottenham stars after the game. Many may be hopeful that could be the first of many times he is on that Tottenham Hotspur Stadium pitch.
