Eberechi Eze was spotting with Heung-min Son and James Maddison at full-time after Tottenham Hotspur beat Crystal Palace yesterday.

Spurs came from behind to secure a vital 3-1 win over the Eagles after Eberechi Eze’s stunning second-half free-kick.

The 25-year-old returned from a spell on the sidelines to deliver a sucker punch to Tottenham against the run of play.

Fortunately for Ange Postecoglou, his side stuck to the task admirably as goals from Timo Werner, Cristian Romero and Heung-min Son secured all three points.

But after being heavily linked with a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium over the past year, Eze impressed in north London. It’s already been claimed that the Palace star is one of Spurs’ main targets for the summer transfer window.

And Tottenham fans were excited by the sight of Eze having a catch-up with both Son and James Maddison after yesterday’s game.

In a video posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, Eze can be spotted talking to both Maddison and Son after the game.

The talented playmaker shared a hug with both Tottenham stars before Brandon Austin and Oliver Skipp also got involved.

Should Spurs remain keen on Eze, the Englishman will have surely impressed Postecoglou with his performance yesterday.

The playmaker has missed 10 games through injury this season but returned to action with a sensational goal yesterday.

It was completely against the run of play but Eze displayed the kind of quality he usually provides for Palace.

While Eze’s injury record will be a cause for concern, he seems like an ideal fit for Postecoglou’s attacking system.

The midfielder is capable of playing in an advanced midfield role as well as out wide, which would be ideal for a Tottenham side lacking quality cover for Maddison.
