Tottenham Hotspur have now seen one of their players valued at a whopping £76m after just one season under Ange Postecoglou.

Since the summer, there has been a lot of new faces around Hotspur Way with Daniel Levy sanctioning a lot of change over the last 12 months.

Tottenham have also seen a number of these new faces impress a lot since taking to the pitch at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

And a lot of the credit can go down to the appointment of Ange Postecoglou who has transformed the football on display in north London.

This has seen players like Yves Bissouma come out and admit just how much he is now loving life at Tottenham with the Australian at the helm.

There is one player who has now seen his valuation dramatically increase over the last 12 months having played a big role under Postecoglou.

Spurs find themselves well in the mix for Champions League qualification and there’s been some real standout performers contributing to their relative success.

Tottenham player’s value has risen by 406% from what Daniel Levy paid

The recruitment at Tottenham over the last year has been nothing short of sensational.

Since the start of the summer window, Spurs have brought in Micky van de Ven, Brennan Johnson, Guglielmo Vicario to name just a few.

The only real transfer fail over the last 12 months has been the young Argentine striker Alejo Veliz who is struggling to secure himself any minutes on loan with Sevilla.

But it is a player who was signed in 2022 for just £15m and only arrived in the summer who has seen his value dramatically rise, Destiny Udogie.

The Italian has arrived at Spurs in the summer and made an immediate impact having played 27 times in the Premier League alone.

And according to Football Observatory, the 21-year-old is now worth a staggering €89m (£76m) in today’s market.

Although that is a huge amount of money, having netted twice and provided three assists in the league there is clearly a lot of potential for Udogie to grow in to.

Destiny Udogie was recently spotted with £60m Tottenham summer target

Having already inked a new deal to extend his stay with Tottenham through until 2030, Udogie will not be going anywhere this summer.

After all, his manager has been delighted with his performances and has spoken very highly about him in some of his press conferences.

“When I got the role I had a look at all the players who were out on loan last year and Destiny was one. I really liked his profile,” Postecoglou said last year.

“Physically he’s got outstanding attributes but he obviously played a different style of football in terms of a lot of times he was used as an attacking wing-back.”

Now he may have just turned into Agent Udogie after being spotted with reported Spurs target Ivan Toney earlier this month.

The Spurs News understand the club are on the lookout for a new forward this summer and the Brentford man is seeing his future being widely speculated.
