Guglielmo Vicario makes prediction on who will be Tottenham’s top scorer this season

Guglielmo Vicario has revealed who he thinks will be Tottenham Hotspur’s top goal scorer this season with the team finally starting to click under Ange Postecoglou.

Tottenham have several candidates who are capable of scoring plenty of goals but the club will be hopeful it can be their new record signing Dominic Solanke.

The striker has made a great start to life in North London and has two goals in his last two Premier League appearances, including in Spurs’ 3-0 win away at Old Trafford.

Heung-min Son is the other obvious candidate having finished as the club’s highest scorer last season having stepped up following the departure of Harry Kane. Vicario has now made his pick between the two attackers.

Vicario predicts who will be Tottenham’s top scorer: Son or Solanke?

Vicario believes that Solanke is the most likely player to be Tottenham’s top scorer this season after his strong start to the new campaign. Currently, he is on two goals in the Premier League, alongside Heung-min Son and Brennan Johnson.

The 27-year-old opened his account for Spurs against Brentford before also bagging against Man United. He has seamlessly slotted into Ange Postecoglou’s team with his work rate and link play already making him a key player.

Solanke’s form for the Lilywhites has earned him his first England call-up since 2017 as Lee Carsley picked him for games against Greece and Finland.

How Tottenham could lineup vs Brighton

Mikey Moore is expected to keep his place in Tottenham’s line-up after impressing on his full debut against Ferencvarosi.

The 17-year-old is likely to be the only change from the team that won at Old Trafford replacing Timo Werner, whilst Son remains sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Postecoglou will be hoping Destiny Udogie can overcome a knock suffered against United to be fit to face the Seagulls.
