Tottenham Hotspur gem Mikey Moore made his full debut for Spurs in Thursday’s Europa League win over Ferencvaros on Thursday night.

The Tottenham prodigy has been making waves at Hotspur Way, so much so that he’s already got five competitive outings for Spurs at just 17 years of age.

Ange Postecoglou has resisted the temptation to throw Moore in at the deep end in recent months, but he finally gave him his full debut against the Hungarian outfit.

The teenager gave a great account of himself, playing a big part in Tottenham’s opening goal and then creating a great chance for Timo Werner later on.

A number of media outlets, including Alasdair Gold’s football.london, have had their say on Moore’s display in their post-match ratings pieces.

Tottenham gem Mikey Moore gets 8s all across the board

Gold, writing on football.london, gave Moore an 8 out of 10 rating for his efforts against Ferencvaros.

“A thrilling full debut and he gave the Hungarian side real problems every time he had the ball at his feet,” wrote Gold.

“He was involved in the first goal with a driving run and pass before sending a low shot that the keeper saved towards the end of the first half.

“Should have had an assist when he pulled the ball across for the German in front of goal but Werner took it wide around the keeper and fired off target.

“He was also involved in Spurs’ second goal and got an entire 90 minutes under his belt. What a night for him.”

Likewise, Dan Kilpatrick of the Evening Standard went with an 8 out of 10 rating for Moore.

“Involved in the build-up to both Spurs’ goals and laid on a golden chance for Werner in an excellent showing which will only increase the hype,” he wrote.

“Always looked to take on his man and pick a pass.”

90Min was next to award Moore an 8 out of 10, writing: “A positive influence throughout, even if his execution wasn’t always perfect.

“Quick feet and ever so dynamic, Moore is bound to play a part in this competition throughout the league phase at least.”

And finally, GiveMeSport completed a series of 8s all across the board for the Tottenham academy graduate.

They wrote: “Not everything came off, but the 17-year-old impressed with his constant willingness to inject some direct running and desire to impact the game at every possible opportunity.”
