Dejan Kulusevski has been full of praise for one of his Tottenham Hotspur teammates for his recent form which has been massive for the team.

Spurs have started to show signs of finally clicking into gear under Ange Postecoglou following their 3-0 win over Manchester United.

Goals from Brennan Johnson, Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke secured the three points, however, it was Micky van de Ven’s incredible assist for Johnson’s goal which proved to be the moment of the match.

But for one Tottenham star, it was another fine display and Kulusevski was singing his praises after the win at Old Trafford.

Why Kulusevski thinks Brennan Johnson has been ‘unbelievable’

Kulusevski believes his Tottenham teammate Brennan Johnson has been ‘unbelievable’ this season having scored four goals in his last four matches.

The forward has produced an emphatic response to the abuse he received on social media which forced him to delete his Instagram account.

When asked how Johnson has played since removing himself from social media, Kulusevski said: “Unbelievable, but that’s a good thing [he is off social media], because social media is overrated, I think. So now, he can focus on the right things, to play football.

“Four games, four goals is unbelievable. Today, he could score two – he hit the post one time – but he’s been doing really good, and he’s a really good guy, young guy, and we need him. We need him to perform like this every game, and we’re here to support it.”

What do Brennan Johnson’s recent Spurs stats look like?

Johnson has been on fire over the last four matches having scored the winner against Coventry in the cup and key goals in the Premier League and Europa League.

Ever since he removed himself from social media, he looks focused and a lot more like the player Tottenham signed him to be. Spurs fans have been right behind him too with his name being sung loudly from the away end at Old Trafford.
