Micky van de Ven wowed fans against Manchester United with his extraordinary assist for Brennan Johnson’s goal.
The Dutch defender set the tone for Tottenham’s quick start setting up the opener in the third minute.
Van de Ven is best known for his blistering pace and his athleticism was on full display at Old Trafford.
Picking up the ball in his own half, the former Wolfsburg man raced past a number of Man United players before flashing a cross to the back post.
Brennan Johnson would be the beneficiary of the Dutchman’s brilliance, tapping home into an empty net to give Spurs the lead.
Supporters were left stunned by Van de Ven’s wonderful assist, with Gary Neville echoing those thoughts on commentary.

What did Gary Neville say about Micky van de Ven?
Neville was full of praise for the Spurs man while commentating for Sky Sports, labelling Van de Ven as “brilliant”.
As Tottenham raced into an early lead, the Man United legend said:
“Absolutely brilliant from Van de Ven. One of the best runs from a centre-back I’ve ever seen.
“It’s amazing, absolutely brilliant and devastating from Spurs.”
