Christian Eriksen has enjoyed an incredible career both at club and international level, sharing the dressing room with so many phenomenal players. In his dream five-a-side team, he picked two stars he played alongside at Tottenham during a memorable era.
Christian Eriksen, 33, was a huge favourite at Tottenham between 2013 and 2020. The attacking midfielder scored 69 goals and provided 88 assists in 305 Spurs appearances.
Now, the Danish creator is playing in the Bundesliga after joining Wolfsburg in the summer.
Even though it is still early days, we’re optimistic that 19-year-old Spurs talent Lucas Bergvall can eventually take up Eriksen’s throne at Spurs as the chief playmaker. Bergvall picked Spurs over Barcelona, and he’s now beginning to shine under Thomas Frank during his second season in North London.

Christian Eriksen picks dream five-a-side team
During an interview with ESPN, Eriksen was tasked with picking a five-a-side made up of the best players he’s ever played with.
Former Spurs stars Mousa Dembele and Harry Kane both made his final team.
| Christian Eriksen’s dream five-a-side team | Where he played with them |
| David de Gea | Manchester United |
| Daniel Agger | Denmark |
| Mousa Dembele | Tottenham |
| Cristiano Ronaldo | Manchester United |
| Harry Kane | Tottenham |

Dembele, who played for Spurs between 2012 and 2019, was a monster in central midfield. When fit and firing, the Belgian powerhouse could do everything, so he’s one of the most underrated individuals of his era.
He was the lynchpin of Mauricio Pochettino’s best team, forming a great partnership with Victor Wanyama.
As for Kane, the striker’s record of 280 goals in 435 senior Spurs appearances speaks for itself. Does the Bayern Munich man have unfinished business in the Premier League, though?

Will Harry Kane make emotional Tottenham return?
Even though Frank has welcomed Kane to re-sign with Spurs, the legendary centre-forward is currently in dominant form in Munich. In fact, he’s scored 98 goals in 103 Bayern appearances since he joined them two years ago.
Kane may have a release clause in his current deal, but would he be prepared to leave Germany?
Of course, Spurs should jump at any opportunity to bring the 32-year-old icon back to the club. It remains to be seen if it’s just fantasy or actually realistic.
