One Tottenham Hotspur player will find himself surplus to requirements when he returns for pre-season training.
Despite obvious progress under Ange Postecoglou last season, Spurs are in desperate need of a squad overhaul this summer.
Tottenham reportedly have a 15-man list of players who Postecoglou would be willing to sell ahead of the 2024/25 season.
With Spurs set for a return to the Europa League, fine-tuning the squad feels like a must for technical director Johan Lange.
One task Lange will face is finding suitable clubs for Tottenham’s unwanted stars who are set to return from loan spells.
Djed Spence is already receiving concrete interest from Genoa while Japhet Tanganga could make his loan switch to Millwall permanent.
Joe Rodon is also attracting interest from Premier League sides after an impressive spell on loan at Leeds United.
But Spurs may find it more difficult to offload Sergio Reguilon, who is set to return after spending the second half of the season at Brentford.

Sergio Reguilon has not future at Tottenham
After seeing his spell at Manchester United cut short in January, Reguilon enjoyed a decent few months with the Bees.
The left-back, who was snapped up by Spurs for £32 million in the summer of 2020, managed four assists in 16 appearances for Thomas Frank’s men.
However, despite his impressive form, The Athletic claims that Brentford simply cannot match his wage demands.
Reguilon will find himself ‘surplus to requirements’ when he returns to Hotspur Way this summer.

What Reguilon has said about Postecoglou amid Tottenham exit rumours
Reguilon featured regularly during Postecoglou’s first pre-season in charge but it quickly became apparent that he wasn’t in the Aussie’s plans moving forward.

The Spaniard recently claimed that he was suddenly exiled from Spurs training after being told he would be named in the squad.
He said: “During pre-season I was very happy and he [Postecoglou] was happy with me, also the staff. I was playing like a normal player, all the games.
“The week before, I went to see him. ‘You want me at the club?’ ‘Yes, I have to do a list and you are in my squad’. It was strange. The next day I was out of the training and I didn’t know what happened.”
