Tottenham Hotspur left-back Sergio Reguilon has admitted Ange Postecoglou had told him he was in his plans over the summer.
The Spaniard is currently spending a second spell out on loan this season in the Premier League, this time with Brentford.
However, Sergio Reguilon has admitted that Ange Postecoglou had informed him he was in his list of players for the upcoming season.

Reguilon exiled by Postecoglou
It was a difficult 2022/23 campaign for the 27-year-old who spent his season out on loan with Atletico Madrid.
He only managed to play 11 times in La Liga for Diego Simeone with a total of 303 minutes of action on the pitch.
And going into the 2023/24 season, it seems he was under the impression that he was going to get another shot at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
In an interview with The Times, Reguilon admitted he’d been told he had been included in Postecoglou’s squad list. He said: “During pre-season I was very happy and he [Postecoglou] was happy with me, also the staff. I was playing like a normal player, all the games.”
“The week before, I went to see him. ‘You want me at the club?’ ‘Yes, I have to do a list and you are in my squad’. It was strange. The next day I was out of the training and I didn’t know what happened.”

What next for Reguilon
Reguilon is currently enjoying a spell away from Spurs on loan with Brentford where he is playing regular football under Thomas Frank.
The Spaniard has already featured seven times in the Premier League for the west London side.
And that could well be helping his case for a potential move away from Tottenham in the summer.
Going off his comments, it is apparent he is not in the plans of the Australian who has the likes of Destiny Udogie to select at left-back.
And it has to be said, it is hard to imagine he will have done himself any favours with these comments made about the Spurs boss.
When Reguilon returns to Hotspur Way in the summer, he will only have one year remaining on his deal with the club.
So unless, he has seriously wowed the Spurs hierachy with his loan spell at Brentford, it isn’t hard to imagine Daniel Levy sanctioning his exit permanently.
