Tottenham flattered to deceive in their 1-1 draw with Fulham in the Premier League.
After dismantling the champions last weekend, the Lilywhites failed to replicate their heroics this time around against Marco Silva’s side.
There were a number of poor performances at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with Spurs fans claiming Heung-min Son was ‘off the pace’, meanwhile, some supporters have called for Pedro Porro to be dropped after his poor display.
Son and Porro, however, weren’t the only Tottenham stars who were off the boil against Fulham, which has left many fans questioning why Ange Postecoglou did not make changes earlier.

Tottenham fans say Ange Postecoglou made substitutions too late vs Fulham
After disappointing midweek against Roma, Tottenham supporters were once again left frustrated by their side’s performance – letting yet another lead slip.
Fans took their frustrations to X (formerly Twitter), with many questioning why Postecoglou left his substitutions so late – particularly with so many Spurs players seemingly off the pace.
One wrote: “Absolutely useless. When do we start to question Ange? Shocking and late subs again, no control or idea with the ball!”
Another supporter said: “Ange’s decisions for the subs were too late the players had no fight in them, soft spurs as always.”
Fans have particularly highlighted the Aussie’s decision to bring Dejan Kulusevski on in the 68th minute, claiming the Swede should have been brought on earlier.
Tottenham missed Dejan Kulusevski’s impact against Fulham
With many fans highlighting the need to bring on Kulusevski earlier, it begs the question as to why he was rested against Fulham
Glenn Hoddle believes Kulusevski has been Tottenham’s best player this season and the 24-year-old’s impact was sorely missed in midfield and attack.
| Dejan Kulusevski stats vs Fulham | |
| Minutes played | 22 |
| Match rating | 6.5 |
| Touches | 13 |
| Pass accuracy | 100% |
| Duels won | 4 |
Despite only playing 22 minutes, the Swede did make an impact when he came on – adding some intensity and quality to the Tottenham attack.
It would be no surprise to see him return to the Spurs starting lineup against Bournemouth.
