Tottenham Hotspur were able to bounce back from their defeat against Bournemouth before the international break with a win over West Ham United.
Goals from Pape Matar Sarr, Lucas Bergvall and Micky van de Ven saw Tottenham earn victory and return to north London with all three points.
Bergvall was making his 50th appearance for Spurs and capped it off in style with a very good header.
It caught the attention of former Spurs goalkeeper Paul Robinson, who was on commentary duty for his old side’s 3-0 win.

Paul Robinson in awe of Lucas Bergvall’s run
It was Bergvall who doubled Tottenham’s lead after Sarr’s own header shortly after the restart.
The midfielder made an excellent run into the box before nodding the ball past Mads Hermansen, with his movement really impressing Robinson.
Commentating on the game for the BBC, the ex-England goalkeeper said: “It goes from bad to worse for West Ham. The ball is recycled and [Cristian] Romero floats it over the top of the West Ham back four and Lucas Bergvall times his run to absolute perfection.”
After a close first half, the match eventually became quite easy for Bergvall and Spurs, especially after Tomas Soucek’s red card.
Heading into the London derby, Thomas Frank already had a solid record against West Ham. He can now add another win to it.

Lucas Bergvall confident he has Thomas Frank’s backing
At 19 years of age, Bergvall is still a very young player and is competing against some quality midfielders for a place in Frank’s starting XI.
Nevertheless, the Swede is confident that his manager is behind him. When Bergvall was asked if Frank believes in him while on international duty, he said: “Yes, absolutely.”
Before Tottenham’s trip to the London Stadium, Frank spoke about Xavi Simons and Randal Kolo Muani, confirming that they were in contention to make their debuts against West Ham. The former did and was the player who set up Sarr’s opener.
Next up for Frank and Tottenham is their first Champions League game of the season versus Villarreal. Their next domestic game is an away clash against Brighton & Hove Albion, who just lost to Bournemouth.
