Tottenham have had a brilliant start to the season as they sit top of the Premier League, and manager Ange Postecoglou has figured out a way to do it without Harry Kane.
Kane was Spurs’ star man for the last eight years, but he made the move to German champions Bayern Munich in August, and Tottenham failed to replace him.
But Spurs have managed fine at the top end of the pitch, scoring the joint fourth most goals, scoring 18 times in their opening eight games. However, it looks like Postecoglou would still like a striker in January.
Spurs interested in Jonathan David

According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Spurs are looking at signing Lille striker Jonathan David.
Tottenham are said to have a ‘firm intention’ to sign the Canadian international, with it also being said that he ‘fits perfectly’ into Postecoglou’s style of play, and could make an instant impact in North London.
Spurs would like to make a move for him in January but are happy to wait until the summer window if necessary. David is said to be valued at €40 million.
Jonathan David could be the ideal replacement for Kane
David could be a brilliant signing for Spurs. They failed to replace Kane, and David would be a fantastic replacement.
He has already scored four goals and set up another so far this season in 12 games, and at the age of 23 he still has plenty of room to improve.
The opportunity to play in the Premier League would be a brilliant proposition for him, and to play a the current league leaders will only make it look at more attractive move for him.
