Tottenham Hotspur have had a mixed season thus far, picking up some incredible results interspersed with some real horror shows.
With the January transfer window edging ever closer, Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou could well look at bringing in some reinforcements.
Postecoglou has a knack for unearthing hidden gems and transforming them into stars, and Tottenham have now set their sights on one such player.

Tottenham eyeing Greece youth star Stefanos Tzimas
The Spurs News understands that Tottenham are among the Premier League clubs that have scouted PAOK striker Stefanos Tzimas.
As well as Spurs, the likes of Newcastle United have watched the 18-year-old, and so have Brentford, Fulham and Everton.
All five clubs see Tzimas – who is currently on loan at German second tier outlet Nurnberg – as a future prospect.
Meanwhile, West Ham United are also in pursuit and their interest is strong – they have been looking at potentially taking over Tzimas’ loan from January.
SportBILD have reported that Nurnberg have a purchase option worth €18million (£15million) on the Greece Under-21 international.
They apparently hope to take this option up and then cash in by selling him to a Premier League side for €20million (£16.5million).
Who is Tottenham target Stefanos Tzimas?
Tzimas was born in Thessaloniki on 6 January 2006 and has risen through the ranks at PAOK, going on to make 30 senior appearances and registering five goals and an assist.
He joined Nurnberg last summer, linking up with the 2. Bundesliga side on a season-long loan with an option to buy.
Tzimas has been superb in the German second tier, registering five goals and one assist from nine league games thus far.
The Guardian named Tzimas in their 2023 list of the 60 best young players in world football.
‘A two-footed striker, he is a quick thinker, fast and physically mature, which has meant he has been able to play against older opponents for some time now,’ they wrote.
Meanwhile, Jacek Kulig of Football Talent Scout has likened Tzimas to Italy international Ciro Immobile and deemed him potential ‘first-team material in a top European league’.
Tottenham are likely to be linked with a host of top talents in the coming weeks, with one recent report suggesting Spurs are eyeing Sunderland’s Jobe Bellingham.
In the meantime, the international break is about to get under way, and Spurs loanee Bryan Gil is among those who have received a call-up.
