One of Tottenham Hotspur’s loan players has just been called up to the Spanish national team with his inclusion coming as quite a surprise to many.
This player has been impressing on loan out in La Liga and his form earned him his first call-up to the national team in three years back in October.
Now, for the latest international break, Spain’s boss Luis de la Fuente has decided to bring him back into his squad for games against Denmark and Switzerland. He will join up with Spurs defender Pedro Porro who has also been included in the squad.

Bryan Gill named in Spain squad
Bryan Gil has just been called up to the Spanish national team squad after FC Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal was forced to withdraw due to injury.
The 23-year-old has now been included in De la Fuente’s squad on the last two occasions highlighting just how highly regarded he is in Spain.
Gil was named in the Spain squad for the first time in three years last October, however, an injury forced him to withdraw and he was replaced by Ferran Torres.
The Tottenham loanee has been playing well for Girona in La Liga and the Champions League this season with his team sat tenth in the Spanish top flight.
How is Bryan Gil doing at Girona?
Bryan Gil is having a successful loan spell back in La Liga with his form earning him another call-up to the Europan champions’ squad.
The winger only has one goal and one assist in the league, however, his other data looks really solid and a permanent move back to Spain next summer looks likely.
The 23-year-old recently impressed in Girona’s 1-0 win over Getafe as he set up the only goal of the game to secure the three points.
