Tottenham Hotspur have been very active in the transfer market so far this January.

They look to have got the acquisition of Radu Dragusin done and dusted today, with the Romanian having made a ‘full agreement‘ with Spurs today.

He’ll become Ange Postecoglou‘s first signing of the winter window, with the second in Timo Werner on loan looking imminent shortly after.

But with two incoming – are there any on the way out?

Bryan Gil wanted by Fiorentina

An almost forgotten man at Hotspur Way this season, Bryan Gil could very well be on his way out of the club.

Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Serie A club are ‘intrigued’ by the prospect of Gil, as they search for a winger to bolster their attacking options.

Spanish news outlet EstadioDeportivo has also claimed that Tottenham could offload Gil in the January transfer window after signing Werner.

With how hard it has been for the Spaniard to get game time anyway, the arrival of the former Chelsea man will only make this feat even more difficult.

Does Bryan Gil have a Spurs future?

It’s becoming increasingly likely that there is no place for Gil at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Since his £21.6m arrival, Gil has made only 21 appearances in the Premier League. In these games, he has only managed to register one assist. This just isn’t good enough – especially considering the calibre of superstars Tottenham possess in attacking positions.

Ironically, in September 2021, former Tottenham player Graham Roberts backed Gil to be a “superstar”… this hasn’t exactly worked out. Let’s see what materialises in the coming weeks.
