Tottenham Hotspur have been backed to make an exciting signing in this summer’s transfer window.
Although it has been a largely impressive first season for the Lilywhites under Ange Postecoglou, but their defeat to Fulham showed there’s still room for improvement.
But it is still early on in the Postecoglou project with more signings expected this summer.

Fabrizio Romano expects special addition
Speaking to JD Football, the Italian transfer guru has said he expects something big to come from Spurs over the coming months.
“I see Tottenham signing an important midfielder in the summer, a really important one, I think they want to add something special in that position,” he said.
Tottenham have already been linked with some big name midfielders ahead of the summer window.
Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher is a name which will not go away with the 24-year-old’s contract situation still rumbling on.
Another name to be mentioned recently is Ederson of Atalanta, Spurs are said to have been recommended him by Fabio Paratici.

What Postecoglou thinks about Conor Gallagher
In typical Tottenham fashion, the club may need to offload players this summer before they are able to buy.
But it is apparent Gallagher is a player high on the list of potential options at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
He is going into the summer with just one year remaining on his current contract at Stamford Bridge and no breakthrough has been found yet on a new deal.
This is a player who Postecoglou ‘really appreciates‘ and has had him on his radar at Spurs since August last year.
If no new deal is signed before the summer, the Blues could well be forced into selling their 24-year-old academy product.
Before Spurs can look to bring in new players, they may need to sell first and one player who could depart is Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
The Danish international has already been tipped with a Spurs exit this summer by the reliable journalist Alasdair Gold.
He said: “We know he’s going to go in the summer. He’s got one year left on his deal and all signs are pointing towards the exit.”
