Chelsea are now ready to sell Tottenham Hotspur summer target Conor Gallagher as no breakthrough is found over a new deal.
The England midfielder will be heading into the summer with just one-year remaining on his current deal with the Blues.
And it seems the two parties are finding it difficult to agree on terms to extend his stay.

Conor Gallagher’s Chelsea future
According to HITC Football’s Graeme Bailey, the Blues are considering selling their 24-year-old after being impressed by Newcastle United’s Bruno Guimaraes.
Their interest in the Brazilian has now seen Mauricio Pochettino’s side push ahead with plans to sell Conor Gallagher.
Tottenham are said to be long-term admirers of the £50m-rated midfielder and are already considering a potential approach in the summer for him.
It is also believed Ange Postecoglou is a huge fan of the Englishman.

Tottenham’s midfield options
Whether it is Champions League or Europa League, it does look like Spurs are in a solid position to be playing European football next term.
With that, Spurs will need some solid squad depth which is capable of playing multiple games a week.
Tottenham exited the domestic cup competitions early this season and will be hoping to go further next season with their trophy drought rumbling on.
Currently, midfield is probably one of Tottenham’s strongest positions when it comes to depth.
Yves Bissouma, Pape Matar Sarr, Rodrigo Bentancur and James Maddison are all quality options which Postecoglou has at his disposal.
Adding to this cohort, young prospect Lucas Bergvall will be joining up with the squad in the summer from Djurgardens.
However, it looks like Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg could be heading for the exit over the coming months.
Whether or not Tottenham are able to justify paying £50m for a midfielder who may not start every game is another question, though.
