Tottenham Hotspur continue to be linked with attacking players as Johan Lange and co look towards the January transfer window.

Attacking signings have been prominent under Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham Hotspur.

Manor Solomon and Brennan Johnson arrived in 2023 before Timo Werner joined on loan from RB Leipzig in January.

Werner’s loan was extended this past summer and Tottenham splashed the cash on Dominic Solanke.

Johnson and Solanke cost big money – around £112million for the pair – as Tottenham look to mould a new attack in the post-Harry Kane era.

Werner surely won’t be signed permanently in 2025 though and with Dejan Kulusevski now thriving centrally, another wide man could yet be targeted.

Tottenham Hotspur want South American sensation

Reports on Tuesday suggested that Tottenham are looking towards Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo as a potential signing.

That would be an enormously expensive deal though, especially as Semenyo only signed a new deal over the summer.

Tottenham may look towards cheaper options and Midtjylland talent Dario Osorio is on the radar.

Give Me Sport claim that Tottenham are tracking the development of Osorio ahead of a possible move.

Brentford, Crystal Palace and Manchester United are also interested in Osorio but Tottenham are joining the race.

Tottenham technical director Johan Lange will be well aware of the top talents in his homeland of Denmark.

Osorio is certainly one of them and Tottenham may look to move in for the Chilean in 2025.

Who is Dario Osorio?

Osorio hails from Chile and came up through the ranks with Universidad de Chile.

The right winger hit 11 goals in 51 first-team appearances before leaving South America for a move to Danish side Midtjylland in 2023.

Osorio’s impressive record in the final third has continued, notching 11 goals and three assists in 40 games.

The 20-year-old already has 13 senior caps for Chile too, recording one goal in the process.

Former Universidad de Chile star Jonny Herrera has previously compared Osorio to Gareth Bale whilst speaking to Todos Somos Tecnicos in Chile.

That would surely appeal to Tottenham fans, but Osorio has also been likened to Bale’s former Real Madrid teammate Angel Di Maria.

A right-sided, left-footed winger who has shown a real eye for goal, Osorio would be a project for Tottenham – but a potential star in the making.
