Spurs are reportedly in talks with Bournemouth over the signing of Dominic Solanke.
Tottenham Hotspur have made no secret of their desire to bring in a new striker this summer.
Ever since the departure of Harry Kane in 2023, Spurs have been in search of a goalscoring replacement.
It was hoped Richarlison would fill the goal-shaped hole, the Brazilian however has failed to provide the goods with injuries and mental health difficulties hampering his Tottenham career.
The former Everton man’s struggles have seen the Lilywhites re-enter the striker market this window, with Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou revealing the striker position is a “focus” for the club as they look to build on their fifth-place finish last season (as reported by Football.London).

Tottenham ‘pushing’ for Dominic Solanke deal

Tottenham’s striker search has seen them linked with a whole host of names this summer but the one name that doesn’t seem to be going away is Dominic Solanke.
It was first reported last week that Spurs were ‘exploring’ a deal for Solanke, this has since been followed by the news that Tottenham are reportedly now “pushing” to sign the Cherries man with talks underway.
That is according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, who has stated the 26-year-old has “given the green light” to Spurs.
Fresh off the back of scoring 19 league goals last season, Solanke is said to be one the top names on Tottenham’s striking shortlist.
Likely to cost in the region of £65m, it has been suggested the Lilywhites may potentially try and sweeten the deal with a player plus cash offer.

Bournemouth eye Cameron Archer as Solanke replacement

As Tottenham’s pursuit of Dominic Solanke intensifies, Bournemouth are reportedly already eyeing up potential replacements.
One of the names on their shortlist is Aston Villa forward Cameron Archer, that is according to Football.London, who state Andoni Iraola’s side are potentially lining up a move for the 22-year-old.
Bournemouth are also said to be monitoring Malian striker El Bilal Toure, with French publication L’Equipe revealing the Cherries are ready to battle Stuggart for the Atalanta man’s signature.
If the South Coast outfit were able to secure the signing of Archer or Bilal Toure, it may potentially accelerate Solanke’s potential transfer to Spurs.
