Spurs forward Richarlison has taken to social media to rubbish claims that he is leaving the club.

As the Premier League season fast approaches, Tottenham are ramping up their pursuit of a new striker.

Recent days have seen Spurs step up their interest in Bournemouth forward Dominic Solanke, with the Lilywhites also said to have a “concrete interest” in Brentford’s Ivan Toney – according to Ben Jacobs.

All this transfer speculation has sparked doubt over Richarlison’s Spurs career, with Tottenham seemingly willing to let the Brazilian go amid rumors of an approach from Saudi Arabia.

Richarlison however has since rubbished those claims, revealing to fans he wants to stay at Tottenham.

Richarlison’s defiant message to Spurs supporters

The Brazilian has recently spoken out following rumours he may leave North London this summer, telling ESPN Brasil:

“There has been an offer but my dream of playing for the Brazilian and in the Premier League speaks louder.

“The money is big but my dreams are bigger.”

The former Everton forward however did not stop there, also taking to social media to send out a defiant four-word message to Spurs fans.

Despite his struggles since joining the club, Richarlison has become a cult hero amongst the Spurs faithful, with his unwavering passion striking a chord with fans.

Many supporters however will now wonder what this means for Tottenham’s striker pursuit, with many originally expecting the money from Richarlison’s sale to be used in a potential deal for the likes of Dominic Solanke or Ivan Toney.

Tottenham fans react to Richarlison’s four-word message

Richarlison’s Instagram post has led to an outpouring of love from Spurs supporters, with many fans voicing their support for the Brazilian via social media.

One fan took to X (formerly Twitter) and said: “Say what you want about him, but I’d rather this kind of attitude at the club than someone who’s just here for the money.”

Another fan added, “This is where he belongs.”

“You can’t not love Richarlison. Let him stay and battle it out for the 9. He loves Spurs,” a third fan said.

A fourth supporter also posted, “I love this from him! Nothing is more powerful than a person with ambition and determination!”
