Ange Postecoglou has revealed that Yves Bissouma is still injured and will miss Tottenham’s Carabao Cup clash with Coventry City.
Bissouma missed the North London derby with a foot injury he picked up whilst on international duty with Mali.
Speaking ahead of the trip to the Midlands, Postecoglou told the press: “No, Biss is still not where we want him to be. Hopefully still a chance for the weekend.”
The midfielder had just been hitting top form having scored three goals in his first four matches for club and country. Postecoglou must now find a replacement for him in the EFL Cup and Spurs have just the player.

Archie Gray must be unleashed by Ange Postecoglou
Postecoglou must finally hand Archie Gray his first competitive start for Tottenham with the teenager ready to leave his mark on the team.
Gray proved last season for Leeds United that he is more than capable of succeeding at this level having played Coventry twice.
Leeds’ CEO Angus Kinnear revealed that Real Madrid had shown an interest in Gray earlier in the year and tipped him to play for Los Blancos in the future.
The 18-year-old has had to be patient in waiting for his chance at Tottenham but there is no better chance than the EFL Cup third round to finally unleash him.
Lucas Bergvall should also be used with the Swede having really impressed supporters when given the chance at Tottenham.
How Tottenham could line-up vs Coventry
Radu Dragusin is expected to start alongside Micky van de Ven in defence whilst Djed Spence and Ben Davies could both come in as the full-backs. Fraser Forster could finally be given game time against the Championship side.
Three changes are set to take place in midfield with Pape Matar Sarr, Bergvall and Gray forming a very young trio in the middle.
Dominic Solanke is likely to keep his place in attack with Wilson Odobert and Timo Werner playing on the wings.
Possible Tottenham line-up vs Coventry: Forster; Spence, Dragusin, Van de Ven, Davies; Sarr, Gray, Bergvall; Odobert, Werner, Solanke.
