Tottenham Hotspur could be handed a major blow for their trip to Old Trafford with Heung-min Son predicted not to be fit in time.
The South Korean suffered a muscle injury against Qarabag and was forced off in the Europa League match on September 26.
Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has predicted that Son will not be risked for the clash against Manchester United due to it being a hamstring issue.
Ange Postecoglou now faces a tricky selection dilemma of how to replace his captain against the Red Devils with Wilson Odobert also unavailable.

How Tottenham could replace Son vs Man United
Tottenham will travel to Old Trafford with Dejan Kulusevski, Brennan Johnson, Timo Werner and Mikey Moore as Postecoglou’s winger options.
Having no Odobert complicates the Australian’s team selection for the game with Werner and Moore his only genuine left-wing options.
Werner’s form hasn’t been great this season and Moore is just too inexperienced to be thrown into a game of this magnitude.
Johnson could be moved across to replace Son but that would then involve taking Kulusveski out of midfield and the Swede has been excellent there. Postecoglou must avoid the temptation of playing Kulusveski on the wing.
It would be far from the ideal situation, but Werner will have to be the man to start on the left to keep Tottenham’s midfield duo as Maddison and Kulusevski.
Tottenham predicted line-up vs Manchester United: Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Bentancur, Maddison, Kulusevski; Johnson, Werner, Solanke.
Rodrigo Bentancur or Yves Bissouma to start vs Man United?
The other major selection dilemma facing Postecoglou is in midfield and whether to start Yves Bissouma or Rodrigo Bentancur.
The 59-year-old has switched between the two in Tottenham’s first five games of the season with Bissouma starting in two and the Uruguayan starting the other three.
Bissouma got the nod against Qarabag meaning Bentancur is probably the player who will be named in the line-up against United.
That would most likely be the correct decision following Bentancur’s impressive display versus Brentford with the midfielder looking back to his best.
