Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League campaign is over but fans already have another game to watch on Wednesday morning.
Tottenham beat Sheffield United 3-0 on Sunday afternoon, ending the Premier League season in style.
That win secured fifth place and Europa League football for next season, but there is no rest for much of the Tottenham squad.
Ange Postecoglou and co flew straight out to Australia after beating Sheffield United, playing a rather controversial friendly against Newcastle United.
Flying across the world for a friendly just days after the Premier League season has ended is a divisive move, especially with Euro 2024 and Copa America on the horizon.
Even Newcastle’s former Tottenham ace Kieran Trippier isn’t happy with the trip Down Under and many players probably just want this game out of the way.
Who is Tottenham Hotspur’s Tyrese Hall
This game does though present a chance for Tottenham’s young talents to feature and potentially impress Postecoglou.
The likes of George Abbott, Rio Kyerematen and Leo Black are all included in the squad, as is Tyrese Hall.
Hall is only 18 but excitement is already building around the midfielder.
Hall was schooled in North Finchley, just about 30 minutes away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and was previously on the books at Chelsea.
The talented midfielder signed a first professional deal in 2022 and has enjoyed a strong season of development.
Hall played 13 times in the Under-18 Premier League this past season, recording three goals and three assists.
Hall also scored twice in three Premier League 2 playoff games and found the net three times in four FA Youth Cup games.

Add in three assists in nine Premier League 2 games and Hall has shown his attacking quality across various competitions.
Hall has already shown a special ability to pick up the ball in midfield and drive forward, dribbling past opponents for fun.
Tottenham handed Hall a new contract in May, tying him down to the club until the summer of 2029.
That was absolutely vital as reports in February suggested that Manchester City had been scouting Hall for a potential move to the Etihad Stadium.
Tottenham have fended off that interest and will hopefully see Hall rise up through the ranks and become a first-team star.
Hall has intriguingly admitted basing his game on Tottenham midfielder Yves Bissouma, which potentially tells Postecoglou exactly where to use him in the engine room.
Primed to feature in friendlies ahead of next season, Hall could be a real star for Tottenham down the line; he certainly has the talent, let’s just hope the opportunities arrive.
