Mikey Moore made his first professional start for Tottenham Hotspur against Ferencvarosi as the teenager announced his arrival on the first-team scene.
After impressing off the bench against Manchester United, Ange Postecoglou gave the 17-year-old his first start in senior football which he took with both hands.
Moore looked bright against the Hungarian champions with some great passing and close-control dribbling, as he demonstrated his confidence.
He now looks to have done enough to be given the chance to replace the injured Heung-min Son and take Timo Werner’s place in the lineup against Brighton.

Harry Kane (18y, 1m, 19d)
Tottenham’s greatest-ever academy product Harry Kane had a European debut to forget as he missed a penalty in a goalless draw at Hearts.
On August 25, 2011, the teenager had the chance to give Harry Redknapp’s side the lead against the Scottish club, however, his spotkick was saved.
The following January, Spurs shipped the striker out on loan to Millwall, but fortunately, after two more loan moves, it’s fair to say things eventually picked up for Kane…
Dane Scarlett (17y, 6m, 7d)
Dane Scarlett was tipped by Jose Mourinho to be a real star for Tottenham, although his career in North London has somewhat stalled.
The youngster made his first European start in an emphatic 5-1 win over Sloveiean side NS Mura in the Europa Conference League under Nuno Espirito Santo.
Tottenham failed to make it past the group stages in the Conference League that season as they forfeited their final game against Rennes. Several positive cases of COVID-19 were identified from players and staff and the North London club called off the match.
Dean Parrett (17y, 3m, 4d)
Dean Parrett had the chance to play at Tottenham alongside the likes of Harry Kane, Gareth Bale and Jermain Defoe. However, his first start in Europe was not one to remember as Spurs crashed to a 2-0 defeat to Shakhtar Donetsk.
The Lilywhites failed to qualify for the 2009 UEFA Cup as they were eliminated in the qualifying rounds by the Ukrainian side.
Parrett also came through Spurs’ academy at the same time as Kane, Andros Townsend and Ryan Mason. He made just four appearances for the first team before leaving in 2013.
Mikey Moore (17y, 1m, 23d)
Finally, Mikey Moore became Tottenham’s youngster ever starter in Europe as aged just 17 years, one month and 23 days, he was given his shot by Postecoglou.
He played the full 90 minutes as Tottenham secured a 2-1 win over Ferencvarosi and came close to getting his first assist, only to be denied by a poor miss from Werner. Hopefully, the winger can now follow in the footsteps of Kane and leave his mark on the first team.
